Study tours abroad

During his working life, the applicant has realized several study visits, including:

• In the period June-September 1989 has established residence at the Institute for petrochemicals (Petrocemica e Gas de Portugal) - Lisbon, Portugal, where he was hired as a researcher in the project: "New aspects of Portugal's Petrocemica development";
• In the period July-August 1990 has made a study visit of the School of Aeronautics in Delft, Netherlands, where he was engaged in the project "Recent Development in Shell Stability Analysis";
• In the period September 1995 - August 1996 has made a study visit for doctoral studies at University of Washington, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Seattle, USA. He was hired as an assistant - researcher of the project "High temperature composites", funded by the USA Navy Research Office. During this study tour he has worked as a teaching assistant for the subject of finite element method in mechanical engineering from the University of Washington.
• In period May 3rd - June 4th, 2003 has made a study visit of the University of Applied Sciences - Wildau, Germany, as a granted DAAD - scholar. During the stay, the candidate with the highest grades have passed all courses in the field of composite materials, production processes and application of composites, within the program of technology of new materials;
• In the period June 26th to July 3rd , 2003, the candidate has realized visit to the Technishe Fachushule Wildau and University of Applied Sciences, Wildau, Germany, taking research activities in the project for recycling of composite materials and their application;
